Sharing our intellectual assets and educational environment with the community is one of the missions of Chubu University. In order to contribute to lifelong learn-ing within the local community, we oer public lectures, an Active Again College (CAAC), and other initiatives. Our faculty also make themselves available to facilitate osite courses and training programs sponsored by local companies and munici-palities. In addition, we are proud to support cultural awareness through music. Concerts and events are regularly held on campus, and we support the activities of the Kasugai City Symphony Orchestra and the Kasugai Citizen's Ninth Symphony Orchestra. Our support of a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural, and volunteer activities, allows us to preserve close ties with local businesses and organizations.In response to requests from local govern-ments, Chubu University faculty are available to conduct courses and training programs on a variety of themes, including current events and trends in our modern-day society.Community Relations CourseWe invite professional musicians to perform at events held at our Kohei Miura Memorial Hall. At each performance, we deliver a diverse program with commentary given by our Campus Concert Advisor.Campus ConcertWe oer seminars for elementary school students, giving them a chance to gain advanced knowledge and expertise in an enjoy-able environment.Junior SeminarIn collaboration with the local community, we are working on regional regeneration and revi-talization.
