看護過程における看護学生のPES方式による思考過程の特徴―39―JournalofChubuUniversityEducationNo.19(2019)CharacteristicsofThinkingProcessbyNursingStudentsPESMethodinNursingProcessNATSUMEMikiko*1andMIKAMIRetsu*2*1SeniorAssistantProfessor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealthSciences,ChubuUniversity*2Professor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealthSciences,ChubuUniversityAbstractThepurposeofthisstudywastoclarifythethinkingprocessofstudentsandtoexaminetheeducationofnursingprocess.ForstudentswhotooknursingprocessexercisesatChubuUniversity,weanalyzedthecontentsandnumberofdescriptionsoftheanswerstoonequestioninthefinalexamofthestudentswhohadgiventheirconsent.Inthequestions,nursingdiagnosiswasdescribedinthePESMethod(Problem:NursingDiagnosis・Etiology:Cause/Factor・SymptomsandSigns).Of108subjects,105consentswereobtainedandanalyzed(recoveryrate96.2%).AfterorganizingthenursingdiagnosiswiththePESmethod,itseemsthatitisdifficultforthestudentstoreachthelong-termgoal,anditisthoughtthateducationforlogicalgoalsettingbasedonthePESmethodisnecessary.Thestudentswhogavethemedicaldiagnosisnametothenursingdiagnosiswerenotconnectedwithgoalsettingorplanning,suggestingthenecessitytorepeattheroleandinterventionuniquetonursing.Therewerealsostudentswhocameupwithaplaninastatewherethenursingdiagnosisanditscauses/factors,symptoms/signswerenotwellorganized.ItwasconsiderednecessarytoprovideinstructionthatemphasizestheplanningofeducationbasedoninformationorganizedbythePESmethod,aswellaseducationthatcapturesthepatient'soverallpicturebasedonanunderstandingofthediseasestate.KeywordsNursingprocess,Nursingstudents,Thinkingprocess,PESMethod
