―81―JournalofChubuUniversityEducationNo.17（2017）DevelopmentofPracticeinPublicHealthNursingActivitieswithParent-ChildVolunteersMIYATAKEMakiko＊1，SHIRAISHITomoko＊2andKITANOYoshie＊3＊1AssistantProfessor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversity＊2Professor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversity＊3ResearchAssociate,CenterforNursingPracticum,ChubuUniversityAbstractHerewepresentamaternalandchildhealtheducationprogramwithparent-childvolunteersaspartofourPracticeinPublicHealthNursingActivitiesinouruniversity'scourseonPublicHealthNursingeducation.Thegoaloftheprogramwastoenhancestudentstogainavisualknowledgeofthegrowthanddevelopmentofachild,understandthefeelingsofamotherenrolledinparentingandthelivingconditionsofafamilywithinfantsandyoungchildrenbyactuallyinteractingwiththeparent-childvolunteers.Studentsweredividedintogroupsof3-4membersinadvanceandwereassignedtodesigna“playscheduleforthechild”thatwouldencouragedevelopmentalgrowthand“interviewquestionsforthemother”asamaternalandchildhealthprofessional.Onthedayoftheinterview,eachgroupwasgivenachancetomeet2parent-childvolunteersandcarryontheplayschedulesandinterviews.Inthis“Parent-Childvolunteerparticipationprogram,”environmentalpreparationwasnecessaryforthesafetyofachild,andthestudentswereabletogainsuccessfulexperiencethroughsatisfactionofthevolunteers.Weplantoimplementmultilateralevaluationinordertofurtherassesstheeffectsandproblemsoftheprogram.KeywordsParent-Child,Volunteers,NursingPractice，PublicHealthNursing,MaternalandChildHealth
